Expertise: Litigation Case Management & Project Management

Michelle joined Lacey Advocates in 2013, responsible for the management of major litigation cases and client projects.

Michelle is also currently assisting in advising the States of Jersey on the various issues arising concerning the Historic Abuse Redress Scheme and its administration, including the assessment and settlement of claims.

Michelle was previously with the States of Jersey, where, from 2008 -2013, her role included being a key team member responsible for all issues concerning the establishment of the Historic Abuse Redress Scheme and the subsequent management of claims. Michelle’s particular expertise is in organising major cases and in managing significant projects from inception through to conclusion and change–management. For a number of years, Michelle was the Information Governance Manager for the Health and Social Services Department, with unrivalled expertise in advising on data protection issues and Freedom of Information legislation.

Michelle is accustomed to working alongside external law firms and in managing volumes of highly- sensitive and confidential information.
